With a few spoonfuls of a former jazz trumpet player, some liberal sprinkles of a former California State Fiddling Champion, a generous helping of accomplished bluegrass multi-instrumentalist, a heap of bodhran artiste, all topped with the vocal stylings of a very talented singer, you've got the unique recipe for a musical dish that is truly Irish and a Wee Bit More. Incorporating their experiences in a wide variety of musical influences and genres onto a base of traditional Irish music, Nine-8ths Irish enjoys sharing their love of this dynamic music with audiences throughout northern California and beyond. Though members Chris and Linda have relocated back to Texas, the band hopes to continue working together when the opportunities arise, and we'll see you on down the road!!
